WAC Wine Club entering 20th year
Did you know that the WAC has its own wine club that is entering its 20th tasting season this fall? The club exists to promote the understanding and appreciation of wine through education and tasting, while developing a social group for WAC members with an interest in wine. Club members’ wine knowledge covers the entire spectrum—from “I know a red from a white” to “I think that one should have scored a 91 instead of an 89.”
The WAC Wine Club hosts six tasting meetings each year. Three of those tastings offer wines from the club’s own cellar of primarily Old World wines, and three invite guest wineries to showcase their label.
WAC Wine Club membership is capped at 90 members. Annual attrition usually opens a few select seats each fall. The club will accept new members for the 2021–2022 season from a waitlist beginning in September. To sign up for the waitlist and to find more information about the Wine Club and past tastings, visit wacwineclub.com.
